The Florida Christian Activities Association (FCAA) was started by Dr. John Kager in the early 1980s. At that time, Dr. Kager was helping churches throughout Florida start Christian schools. The FCAA was formed to help these schools organize sports competition. Dr. David Bedell became the President of the FCAA in 2001. In 2002, he organized a yearly science fair. By 2007, the yearly science fair had developed into a comprehensive fine arts festival.
